A family-friendly event on Sunday 25 May, 1pm to 3pm at The Hive in Nenthead, concentrating on adders in the North Pennines. Find out why adders matter and then felt your own adder to take home.

This fun and creative afternoon begins with a short presentation about adders in the North Pennines National Landscape and then use wet-felt and needle felt techniques to create your very own adder with felting artist, Anna Osborne. Use bright colours or choose tones that are closer to nature, the choice is yours. The event is suitable for children age 6 +. All children must be supervised by a responsible adult.

What to Expect:
• Get hands-on with wet-felting and needle felting techniques
• Take home your handmade adder and your fresh appreciation for these amazing animals
• All felting materials will be provided
