Plug plants are young plants – either seedlings or cuttings grown in single units in modular trays. This allows for minimum root disturbance when planting / potting on.

We have various opportunities throughout autumn to help plug planting wildflowers into upland hay meadows in Teesdale. All training will be provided.

A general level of fitness is required, please wear outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes. The exact locations will be given closer to the dates.

Volunteer dates are 24 September, 10 and 23 October, 7 and 21 November, 10am to 3.30pm.
