This includes events and online content to encourage people to get involved and produce their own art\, inspired by the stunning landscape and geology of the North Pennines AONB and UNESCO Global Geopark. \nDuring the week the AONB Partnership are sharing top tips\, ideas and a series of videos for green sketching for wellbeing from Boggy Doodles\, and there are artists out in the landscape in a couple of places each day\, creating art as people pass by and stop to chat. Local people and visitors are encouraged to get involved by creating their own art and sending in pictures of it to form an online gallery\, alongside the work produced by the professionals. Free painting sets are available to collect from Bowlees Visitor Centre to make it easy to get started. \nPlease send pictures of your own creations to james@northpenninesaonb.org.uk or share them with us on social media to be included in the online gallery. Because of this she likes to put figures into her paintings; these are basic in form and some are the size of very small ants\, but they in their turn inform the landscape. \nGinny has a degree in Fine Art and a teaching qualification. She was selected for The Laing Landscape Competition and exhibited in The Mall Galleries London. \nThe exhibition runs from 1 – 31 August 2021. There is no need to book.
