DESCRIPTION:Follow the themed trail from the North Pennines AONB Partnership’s Bowlees Visitor Centre in Upper Teesdale to discover the creatures of the night! \nComplete the whole self-guided trail to answer the questions and win an animal-themed prize. SUMMARY:Storytelling and stars at Hannah’s meadow
DESCRIPTION:Join local astronomer Neill Sanders\, from Go Stargazing\, for a laser-guided tour of the night skies above the North Pennines at the wonderful location of Birk Hatt Farm in Baldersdale. \nLearn your way around the constellations and enjoy incredible views of the Moon\, Jupiter and Saturn through a large telescope (weather permitting). \nFollowing the stargazing session and a break for hot chocolate\, we will be joined by Malcolm Green\, a local storyteller. \nThis event is aimed at children aged seven and above. All children must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs please. Wrap up warm and bring a torch (red light if you have one).
