DESCRIPTION:**Cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances** \nA very short history of very big distances. \nHow long would it take to walk to the Moon? Or travel to another solar system? How long would it be until we noticed\, if the Sun stopped shining? How do we know all of this and is there somebody\, or something\, out there asking the same questions? Join Martin Kitching to explore these questions\, and more that you probably never knew you wanted the answers to. \nAfter the talk you will do some stargazing (sky conditions permitting) in the Observatory. \nGeneral admission: £15 (+ £1.76 fee)\nConcessions: £10 (+ £1.37 fee) Under 18s\, students\, unemployed\, Allen Valley residents\nFamily: £40 (+ £3.71 fee) 2 adults & 2 children (under 16) \nWrap up warm and bring a red light torch (if you have one).
