SUMMARY:Species recovery at RSPB Geltsdale
DESCRIPTION:Join us at RSPB Geltsdale reserve on Tuesday 7 November\, 10am to 12 noon\, to walk part of the reserve and\, in conversation with the wardens\, discover the current work\, future projects\, and how you can get involved. \nThe wardens at RSPB Geltsdale will share how management on the reserve benefits the recovery of key species in this dramatic landscape. Refreshments will be available at Hallbankgate Hub after the walk. Please come suitably dressed to be outside for up two hours with footwear for uneven and wet ground. SUMMARY:Farming and nature talk: This networking life
DESCRIPTION:This winter we are holding a series of evening talks with a general theme of the links between farming and nature. Held at The Moorcock in Eggleston\, the hour-long talks will be followed by a half hour discussion. \n‘This networking life’\, led by Adam Day\, is the second talk in the series on 7 November. Please arrive from 7.15pm ahead of the talk starting at 7.30pm. \nAdam Day is the Managing Director of the Farmer Network Ltd and an auctioneer. He will share some tales from the auction\, discuss the work of the Farmer Network\, and look ahead to the future of farming. \nEveryone welcome\, booking required.
