SUMMARY:Plug planting
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a session of plug planting wildflowers into upland hay meadows in Teesdale. All training and equipment will be provided. There are a number of sessions throughout the autumn starting on 26 September\, 10am to 3.30pm. \nA general level of fitness is required. All ages are welcome; children must be supervised by adult. Outdoor clothing be worn and bring waterproofs and wear sturdy shoes. \nExact location and meeting instructions will be sent out at least 48 hours in advance. \nOther sessions are 12 October\, 10am to 3.30pm; 25 Oct\, 10am -12:30pm; 8 and 21 November\, 10am to 3.30pm. \nPlease sign up to using the Better Impact volunteer platform. \n  \n \n

SUMMARY:Photogrammetry refresher workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join Historic England’s Jon Bedford in this photogrammetry refresher workshop on 8 November 10am to 4pm at Allen Mill . This will be a chance to go over what you learned in the first workshop in May\, and to raise any questions you might have come up with since then. You will be able to ask questions both about the photography process\, and about using the software to process your images into models. \nVolunteers are required to have attended the 2-day photogrammetry workshop held in May 2023. It will be beneficial if you attend the practice session prior to this (on 1st November). Adults only. \nPlease sign up using the Better Impact Volunteer platform \n  \n
