SUMMARY:Wildflower seed sowing
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Cotherstone Village Hall 16 November 10am to 3.30pm for a session of sorting and sowing wildflower seeds. We will be sowing seeds from important species such as devil’s-bit scabious that have been collected from existing populations in Teesdale. Once grown these plants will be used to enhance upland hay meadows in Teesdale. All training and equipment will be provided. \nTea\, coffee and light refreshments will be provided but please bring your own lunch. All ages are welcome\, children must be supervised by adult. DESCRIPTION:Join us to contribute to Historic England’s records about lead mining in the North Pennines\, 16 November 2pm to 3pm. We will be exploring how our project will capture information\, stories and archive material. Staff from Historic England will be on hand to show us how we can add information to their Missing Pieces project. \nThis session is suitable for adults. If you previously took part on the OREsome project and still have data\, please have this available as we will use it in the workshop. \nJoin us online or in person at our Stanhope office.
