SUMMARY:Hedge planting
DESCRIPTION:Join us planting hedges at Cannerheugh Farm\, near Renwick and Gamblesby in Cumbria\, on Saturday 27 January\, 10am to 2.30pm. We’ll be working with a group of volunteers to improve habitats by planting a diverse hedge mix to boost the farm’s biodiversity as well as creating vital habitat highways for wildlife. This is part of the Fellfoot Forward scheme’s Wild Connections project. \nSuitable for ages 16+\, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for working outdoors\, and bring gloves. Please bring flasks with hot drinks\, snacks\, and packed lunch. SUMMARY:Saturday stroll - a guided walk
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a guided walk at a relaxed pace on the last Saturday of each month. The walk on 27 January will start at 10.30am and finishing at approximately 12.30pm. The location for this walk is Frosterley. \nAll ages are welcome (children must be accompanied by an adult and must be able to walk or be carried as the paths may not be suitable for pushchairs). Well behaved dogs on a short lead are welcome.
