SUMMARY:Family friendly felted geode workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a family friendly felted geode workshop on Sunday 16 June\, 10am to 12 noon\, at Allendale Village Hall\, Leadgate\, Allendale Town\, Hexham. \nLearn how to felt with wool and create your own ‘crystal geode’ to take home in this workshop with Anna Osborne of Felt Curious. We will be taking inspiration from the unique geology of the North Pennines to make hollow ‘rocks’ from layers of coloured wool. \nOnce felted\, they are then cut open to reveal the magic within and embellished with crystals. Perfect for beginners of all ages\, but also those who have had a go at felting and want to learn a new technique. \nThis workshop is part of the 2024 Land of Lead and Silver arts programme. Anna Osborne\, of Felt Curious\, was one of four successful community arts bursary recipients.
