SUMMARY:Westgate - village history evenings
DESCRIPTION:As part of the village histories project\, we’ll be exploring and recording the natural and cultural heritage of Westgate and its surrounding area. SUMMARY:Farming on the Edge
DESCRIPTION:The North Pennines National Landscape team and the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority\, present an evening of free short films. The films have been made possible with funding from The National Lottery\, with thanks to National Lottery players. \nAward-winning short film ‘Farming on the Edge’ follows Paul and Jen Johnson\, Raby Estate tenants\, for a year on their farm in Upper Teesdale in the North Pennines\, and explores their life farming with nature in this remarkable landscape.
