SUMMARY:Tree planting
DESCRIPTION:Join us at a site near Bowes on Monday 11 March\, 10am to 3pm\, for a session of tree planting to finish off our sites for this winter. We will be planting a selection of native broadleaved trees. \nAll training and equipment will be provided. Please wear outdoor clothing suitable footwear and bring waterproofs. A general level of fitness needed. This activity is suitable for all ages\, children must be supervised by adult. \nA light lunch will be provided but please bring your own drinks and snacks. For further information\, please contact Patrick: patrick@northpennines.org.uk \nPlease sign up using the Better Impact volunteer system. \n

SUMMARY:New parent/carer guided walks
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a relaxed guided walk for all new parents/carers and their babies from Bowlees Visitor Centre on Thursday 28 March from 10am to 12noon. \nThe walks are aimed at parents/carers with children under the age of two years that can go in a carrier or sling. A small number of slings will be available to borrow (please indicate in your booking if you would need one of these). \nThe routes will be of a gentle nature. Refreshments will be available in the upstairs gallery at Bowlees after the walk with a chance to chat and meet other new parents and carers whilst taking the opportunity to be outside and active. \nThe guided walks are free but a donation is welcome.
