DESCRIPTION:Come and join us on an incredible walk at night to meet and be with a feral Fell pony herd\, on the fells in their habitat\, on Sunday 20 November at High Borrowdale\, Cumbria.\n\nDiscover how horses behave at night – how they use all their senses to explore the fells after dark\, what can we learn from them\, and what might the shared experience be like?\n\nThis is part of ‘Our Dark Hearts’\, a Fellfoot Forward LPS community arts project by The Curious School\, with artist and horsewoman Alex Jakob-Whitworth.\n\nPick up points at Temple Sowerby 3pm & Orton 3.40pm. Returning approx. 6.30-7pm. Limited places so booking is essential – email Alex.

SUMMARY:Gardening for wildlife
DESCRIPTION:Come and join us to discover what you can do to help wildlife in your garden and other small areas. We’ll be visiting the Kirkoswald allotments with members of the Kirkoswald Environment Group in the morning to find out about some of their wildlife projects. You’ll also be able to ask questions and share your own experiences\, thoughts and ideas. \nThis will be followed by a lunch in the nearby Methodist church and a number of presentations in the afternoon. Lunch will be provided with locally sourced ingredients including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Booking is essential.
