DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday 9 June\, 7pm to 8.30pm\, at Hexham Community Centre for a talk by geologist\, Brian Young\, which will explore some of the many spectacular and beautiful minerals for which the North Pennine dales are world-renowned. \nThe talk\, lasting approximately one hour\, is an overview with anecdotes\, accompanied by striking photographs\, of these minerals; what they are\, how they formed\, where they came from\, where to see them today\, and why they matter. \nThe talk is ideally suited for adults\, £4 per person. Tea\, coffee and biscuits will be provided. Please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary requirements for refreshments.
