DESCRIPTION:Join us to learn more about the identification of Bumblebees in the field with naturalist Steve Hewitt. \nIdeal for those wanting to learn how to tell the difference between bees in their garden or out and about\, and especially for those interested in bee recording and conservation\, Steve will demonstrate some of the key characteristics of bees and what to look for to distinguish different species. You’ll also learn about their habitats and behaviour. \nWe will meet outside the allotments on Potters’ Bank in Kirkoswald at 1pm (nearest postcode CA10 1EP\, grid reference NY 55329 41542\, What3words ombudsman.zinc.shadow) and the event will aim to finish for 3pm.
