This will include support with planning\, such as creating session plans\, risk assessments\, and how to book a residential. There will also be a walk within the local area. \nExamples of venues\, activities and good practice will also be shared. The workshop aims to help increase your confidence as a youth leader to deliver sessions in the outdoors and to make outdoor activities accessible for a broader range of groups. \nPlease note that the workshop will be held upstairs in Bowlees Visitor Centre and is not wheelchair accessible. DESCRIPTION:Are you a teacher or youth group leader interested in taking groups out for farm visits\, or a farmer interested in hosting an educational visit?  Following our successful Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme training which Fellfoot Forward LPS organised in 2021\, we’d like to facilitate connections between farmers and those interested in bringing groups onto farms. Join Fellfoot Forward LPS at Townhead Farm\, Croglin\, to find out more about the positives and practicalities of farm educational visits. There will be opportunities to try some activities\, discuss what you would like to get from a farm visit and make some new connections. \nThis event will be free to attend and open to anyone regardless of experience.
