SUMMARY:Farming in Protected Landscapes webinar
DESCRIPTION:The Defra-funded Farming in Protected Landscapes programme is managed in the North Pennines by the North Pennines AONB Partnership. In this webinar we will explain what the programme can support\, how it will work and how you can apply. \nThe fund runs until March 2024 and is part of Defra’s Agricultural Transition Plan. It has been developed by Defra with the support of AONB and National Park staff from across the country. \nThe programme will provide funding to farmers and land managers (and others working with them)\, for projects that support nature recovery\, mitigate the impacts of climate change\, provide opportunities for people to engage with the landscape and cultural heritage\, or support nature-friendly\, sustainable farm businesses. \nWe want to encourage strong applications from the North Pennines farming and land management community\, so please join us at this webinar to find out more.
