Learn how these remarkable creatures navigate the night\, where they live\, how they hunt\, and the clever ways they avoid becoming prey themselves. \nUsing a range of specialist equipment and survey techniques\, we’ll detect\, attract and observe nocturnal wildlife\, offering a rare opportunity to get a closer look at some of the North Pennines’ most elusive night-time residents. \nThe event includes a short walk of approximately 1 km over rough ground and is suitable for families with children aged six to sixteen.
