DESCRIPTION:Join the Grassholme Observatory team beneath the dark skies of Grassholme Observatory on Friday 16 October 2026\, 8pm to 11pm\, for an unforgettable evening exploring one of nature’s greatest spectacles – the Milky Way. \nExpert astronomers will guide you through its shimmering star clouds\, glowing nebulae and hidden treasures. Using powerful telescopes\, you will journey deep into the heart of the Milky Way\, observing star clusters\, colourful nebulae and distant celestial wonders invisible to the naked eye. \nWhether you are new to astronomy or a seasoned stargazer\, this is a unique opportunity to experience the Universe under some of England’s darkest skies. \nBring warm clothes – it can get chilly when you are outside. The observatory\, classroom and toilets are accessible. This is a pet free event. \nYour booking is non-refundable. Should Grassholme Observatory cancel the event for any reason they will\, however\, make a full refund or give the option of a transfer to another date.
