SUMMARY:Tree planting
DESCRIPTION:Join us at a farm near Bowes to undertake tree planting on 12 February\, 10am to 3pm. Volunteers are welcome to leave earlier if needed. We will be planting a selection of native broadleaved trees and a small section of predominately hawthorn hedge. \nAll ages are welcome\, children must be supervised by adult. Outdoor clothing to be worn and bring waterproofs. Thick gloves are beneficial for handling guards but can be provided. Please wear boots with a sturdy sole. All training and equipment will be provided. A general level of fitness is needed. A light lunch will be provided but please bring any drinks and snacks. \nPlease sign up using the Better Impact volunteer platform. \n  \n \n
