DESCRIPTION:A practical session involving removing and incinerating invasive Pirri Pirri burr on Eggleston Common on 16 November from 10am – 13.30pm. Suitable for ages 13+\, under 18s would need to be supervised by an adult. \nPark at Eggleston Common (B6278 Middleton to Stanhope Road).\nW3W: took.tidying.conquests\nGrid Ref: NY 99694 30658 \nParticipants will be required to wear disposable overalls and latex gloves in order to prevent further spread of the plant. We will be working over a 500m stretch of track at 450m latitude. \nPlease bring warm waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear. A change of clothes may come in handy at the end of the day. \nHot drinks and snacks will be provided at the end of the event.
