SUMMARY:Teesdale kissing gate installation
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Newbiggin in Teesdale on 8 April\, 10am to 4pm\, to help to improve the accessibility of a stretch of footpath in Teesdale by replacing a broken stile with a kissing gate. \nDue to the physical nature of the work\, a reasonable level of fitness will be required. Please bring warm waterproof clothing. All personal protective equipment will be provided\, including steel toe cap boots if required. \nThis activity is suitable for ages 16+. Please bring drinks\, a pack lunch and snacks. For more information please email jack@northpennines.org.uk. \nPlease sign up using the Better Impact volunteer system. \n

All training and equipment will be provided as well as a buffet lunch and hot drinks to keep you warm! \nSuitable for all ages\, children must be supervised by adult. \nOutdoor clothing to be worn – waterproofs.\nBoots with a sturdy sole.\nToilet and hand washing facilities on site.\nGeneral level of fitness needed.\nBuffet lunch and refreshments provided – please provide allergy details upon booking. \nLocation is:-\nLow Houses Farm\, Newbiggin\, Barnard Castle\, DL12 0UJ\nW3W: warp.knitted.serious\nOS grid ref: NY92241 26632\nParking on farm\, will be guided on day. Postcode will take you to farm – there is a sign at road end.
