Join us to plant hedges at Hallbankgate farm. As well as getting some fresh air and exercise with friendly people, you’ll also be helping to bolster local wildlife and carbon sequestration. We will be working with the Men’s Diaspora Group from Multicultural Cumbria.

Bring clothing appropriate for the day’s weather, ie warm waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear. Tools, gloves and instructions will be provided, but please bring an extra spade if you have one. The farmer is kindly providing a warm lunch, hot drinks and a toilet will also be available.

Suitable for all ages, under 16s must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
