This will be an opportunity to get together prior to the surveying season with lunch and a stroll.
This year, we’ll be continuing our surveys across the Fellfoot Forward scheme area, including County Wildlife Sites, and there will be training days as a refresher, and to welcome and train new recorders. We’ll discuss and plan the year ahead, enjoy a bite to eat (on us, of course), and after lunch, there’ll be the opportunity for a stroll around Coombes Wood with Stuart Colgate from CBDC.
Lunch will be provided at the Fox and Pheasant Inn, Armathwaite.
Please bring sturdy shoes, warm and waterproof clothing. You may wish to bring your own refreshments. Walking will be on uneven ground.
