The North Pennines National Landscape’s Annual Forum is an opportunity to find out about some of the recent and upcoming work of the National Landscape staff team and to discuss matters relating to the future well-being of our natural and cultural heritage. We are running the event online once again, and hope that this allows as many people as possible to join us.
This year, as well as a more general round up of our main areas of work and some of the issues facing National Landscapes, there will be a focus on what makes a 21st century protected landscape. You will hear from team members working on projects to benefit people, climate and nature.
This year’s panel discussion will consider the future for our national landscapes. Look out for announcements of our panel in the coming weeks.
To round off the event, the 2023 winner of the ‘Pendlebury Award’ (in memory of the Partnership’s first chairman, Cllr. Bob Pendlebury) will be announced, marking an outstanding achievement in conserving the National Landscape or helping others to explore, enjoy and understand this special place.
Booking is essential and full joining details will be shared with registered attendees in the week leading up to the forum. Please book by Monday 11 December.
