Do you have an interest in the historic environment and lead mining heritage of the North Pennines and a passion about its conservation? We have an exciting opportunity to volunteer with us and be trained to undertake historic research to add to the story of the mining and the people who depended on this important industry.

This training session will focus on how you can research the past for free from your own home, as well as demonstrating opportunities for you to contribute to the recorded stories of the past.

This half day session on Saturday 1 June, 1pm to 5pm, will be spent indoors with refreshments provided and access to toilets. The venue will be confirmed nearer the date.

Please sign up using the Better Impact volunteer platform.
