Local botanist Lizzie Maddison will lead a walk on Widdybank Fell in Upper Teesdale on 7 June, 10.30am to 1.30pm. See the rare arctic-alpine flowers and plants unique to the area.
This free event is being organised by the Weardale Wildlife Group. Lizzie will share her knowledge about the unique combination of arctic-alpine species with others from southern Europe which make Teesdale special.
The walk is suitable for adults and older children. Please wear footwear and clothing suitable for the weather. No dogs allowed.
