Its North Pennines NatureFest fortnight.

Ever wondered what detail you might be missing? We are setting up a pop-up viewing station where you can come and explore nature close up through the use of binoculars and telescopes, guided by a member of the North Pennines National Landscape team. We will be at Bowlees Visitor Centre, with equipment that can help view nature through a range of magnifying optics, viewing detail you have perhaps not encountered before.

No need to book – just turn up. This is a free event.
