What we do
Allen Valleys Landscape Partnership
In April 2014, the North Pennines National Landscape was awarded a £1.7 million grant by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the culmination of several years of work with the Allen Valleys community. This was awarded as part of a £2.7 million Landscape Partnership Scheme to help conserve, restore, interpret and celebrate the unique cultural, environmental and social heritage of the Allen Valleys.
This was a genuine partnership with the community and with many statutory and voluntary organisations, and together we achieved so much.
