European Geoparks Week
Celebrating geology and Geoparks
Every year Geoparks across Europe host events and activities as part of European Geoparks Week. This usually takes place around the end of May and beginning of June. The North Pennines National Landscape and UNESCO Global Geopark hosts a NatureFest, with a programme of events to appeal to families, nature enthusiasts and those who simply want to understand more about this fascinating area.
