Online talk: Art and climate science

Artist Lionel Playford discusses his experiences of collaborating with climate change scientists to produce artworks that reflect their fieldwork such as in the Atlantic Ocean and on permafrost peat bogs in Lapland.

Lionel Playford is based in the Eden Valley and North Pennines area. His fascinating work with climate change scientists has involved research institutions such as Northumbria University and the Alfred Wegener Institute in Bremerhaven, music and literary festivals, exhibitions and ocean expeditions and ranged from Lapland to Allendale to Cape Town.
