Ahead of World Curlew Day (21 April), Christina Taylor, from the RSPB Geltsdale Reserve and Curlew LIFE Project Officer (Northumberland and Cumbria), presents a webinar on curlew ecology, distribution, trends, and habitat. She will summarise the aims and objectives of the Curlew LIFE Project and the importance and relevance of the Fellfoot Forward area for curlew conservation.
Fellfoot artist Alex Jacob-Whitworth will follow Christina’s talk with a curlew inspired ‘Drawalong’ session, guiding you to draw your own personal curlew using things from home. This is for anyone, even if you haven’t drawn since school, to celebrate these iconic birds in a fun and imaginative way.
This is an online event using the ZOOM platform. You will receive your link and information for logging on 24 hours before the event, therefore booking is essential. To book your place, use the link below or click here.
