This event will look at ways to boost nature in gardens, small fields, and smallholdings, using an example in Cumrew where a group of small fields attached to a home have been improved for wildlife.
There will be advice on creating habitats to maximise biodiversity, including species of tree, shrub, and herbaceous plants which act as foodplants for insect larvae, and we will help you assess the nature value of your land and it’s value to the surrounding landscape.
There will also be an opportunity for participants to ask questions about their ideas for their land and we will offer help on subjects such as ponds, scrapes, woodland and scrub creation as well as suggesting opportunities available for helping you to manage your land for wildlife.
Booking is essential as places are limited. We may run a second date for this event – if you are wish to register your interest, please EMAIL US to send your name and contact details.
