A free drop-in afternoon session to see and share historic photos, memorabilia, and stories of the lead mines and miners, at Allendale Village Hall on 20 April between 4pm and 7pm.

Do you have old photos and memorabilia of your family around the lead mining sites of the North Pennines? Were your relatives lead miners and you’d like to see and share any old photos and memorabilia of them? Do you have stories or legends of the mines that you’d like to share? Would you like to come along and see what others have shared?

The drop in session is open to all with free tea, coffee and cakes provided. Children must be supervised by an adult.
