We have a free drop-in afternoon session at Alston Town Hall on 18 April between 4pm and 7pm to see and share historic photos, memorabilia, and stories of the lead mines and miners.

Do you have old photos and memorabilia of your family around the lead mining sites of the North Pennines? Were your relatives lead miners and you’d like to see and share any old photos and memorabilia of them? Do you have stories or legends of the mines that you’d like to share? Would you like to see what others have brought along?

The drop in session is open to all, and tea, coffee and cakes will be provided. Children must be supervised by an adult. Alston Town Hall is located on Front Street in Alston, CA9 3RF. What3Words: tequila.outbound.worms
