Please come along to our free drop-in afternoon session at Westgate village hall on 27 April between 4pm-7pm to see and share historic photos, memorabilia, and stories of the lead mines and miners.
Do you have old photos and memorabilia of your family around the lead mining sites of the North Pennines? Were your relatives lead miners and you’d like to see and share any old photos and memorabilia of them? Do you have stories or legends of the mines that you’d like to share?
The drop in session is open to all with free tea, coffee and cakes provided. Children must be supervised by an adult.
