Join us for a free pottery workshop on Tuesday 9 July, 6pm to 8pm, at Bowlees Visitor Centre, to create artwork inspired by the North Pennines mining heritage. The workshop is intended for adults.

Have you ever wondered what shaped our landscape and influenced the culture of the North Pennines? Maybe you want to learn something new in a supportive, creative and social environment.

Join ceramicist, illustrator, and our current artist-in-residence, Abi Baker, to create artwork inspired by the lead and silver mining heritage. Abi will guide you through the process of making handmade ceramic tiles which will be used in the creation of a mixed media mosaic, as part of the Land of Lead and Silver project.
