A free evening event full of stories, song, and automata for all the family, with a buffet, at Melmerby village hall in the Eden Valley.

Nana Bainbridge’s Table, is the first event of a community arts project by The Clifford Movement. The Clifford Movement are Dawn Hurton, Gwen Bainbridge and June Swift, and this evening performance will introduce you to them, their stories and where they find their material.

The art project will explore hand me down heritage, unearthing history and bringing the past alive in Melmerby and the surrounding villages, and beginning a community archive of written histories and ephemera.

Tickets are free but booking is required. A buffet is provided as part of the evening.
