We are looking for curious people with an interest in local history, storytelling, or simply trying something new to assist in making podcasts, helping to capture the research and oral histories carried out by the Land of Lead and Silver Project.

Come along to the drop-in sessions every Tuesday at Westgate Village Hall, between 10am and 2pm, starting on 7 July to 4 August. Stay for as long as you can and when you can.

No prior podcasting or audio experience is necessary, suitable for 18+. We will cover how you can get involved and work with sound artist Ben Freeth.

There may also be an occasion when we venture further to capture more, but notice will be given two weeks ahead of this.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills in audio production, meet like-minded people, gain hands-on creative experience, and play a key role in preserving and sharing local heritage.

Accessibility – Westgate Village Hall is accessed via steps. Please contact us if you have any accessibility requirements.
