Would you like to contribute to the conservation of adders in the North Pennines National Landscape?
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to complete surveys of this iconic reptile, which is now vulnerable to extinction in England, as part of our ‘Adders Up’ project.

The free survey training at Pow Hill Country Park, Edmundbyers, on Sunday 8 September, 9am to 11.30am, will be run by Conservation Officer Henry Barrett and is part of a series of volunteer surveyor training workshops. Volunteers must attend a training session before being assigned survey sites.

If the weather is unsuitable on the day, an indoor training session will be held at an alternative venue. All children must be supervised by an adult. For more information about the event please email: henry@northpennines.org.uk

Please use the Better Impact volunteer system to sign up.
