Join us for a full-day welcome event on 3 June from 10am to 4pm to learn about volunteering opportunities coming up as part of the Land of Lead and Silver project. The morning session will feature a series of short talks about the development of the Land of Lead and Silver project and plans for the delivery stage. This will be followed by a walk around the mine site to visit one of the buildings that will have restoration work done during this project. Lunch will then be provided before an open discussion session in the afternoon.

This event is open to everyone whether you have volunteered with the North Pennines AONB Partnership before or not. We look forward to seeing you there.
