Come along to the first gathering of the Westgate Village historical group, Wednesday 3 December, 6pm to 8pm at Westgate Village Hall.

As part of the Village histories project, we’ll be exploring and recording the natural and cultural heritage of Westgate and its surrounding area.

This exciting project aims to bring together local knowledge, memories, and research to create a lasting record for future generations  and there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved. The group is aimed at residents of Westgate, those who live nearby, or simply have an interest in the history of the village.

At this session, you can:

• Learn more about the project and how to take part
• Share your stories, photographs, and personal memories
• Contribute your ideas to help shape the project’s content and focus
