Volunteer with us to help collect globeflower seeds from species-rich meadows in Teesdale on Wednesday 3 July, 10am to 1pm. Please note that the date has been altered from 26 June due to the ripening of the seeds.
Globeflower is an iconic species that is present in some of the best species-rich wet meadows. Its abundance in meadows has been reducing, and collecting seeds will allow the population to be expanding by growing and planting out globeflowers into meadows in Teesdale.
This event is suitable for all ages, children must be supervised by adult. Please wear outdoor clothing, bring waterproofs and wear sturdy shoes. The final location and meeting instructions will be communicated to volunteers at least 48 hours in advance.
