Cardunneth Pike high level walk

A circular walk of 17.5km (11 miles) taking approximately six hours.

A fellside walk through the villages of Castle Carrock and Cumrew before climbing to Cumrew Fell and the Bronze Age burial site and cairn at Cardunneth Pike.

This walk is classed at hard. It is mainly on good tracks with short stretches on heather and some steep grass banks. The route crosses open access land on a managed grouse moor, over which dogs are not allowed, unless on a public right of way.
