Castle Carrock slow trail

A circular route of 3.7km (2.3 miles) taking approximately 1 hour.

This circular route starts by the village green and circumnavigates Castle Carrock reservoir surrounded by woodland and upland fell.

There is an accessible out-and-back from a drop-off point by the reservoir. There is also an accessible circular route which involves a short distance on a road.

This walk is classed at easy. It is mainly flat on a mixture of road and track. It can be muddy in places.
