Isaac’s Byre self-catering holiday cottage provides eco-friendly accommodation in the South Tyne Valley in Cumbria – part of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and UNESCO Global Geopark. The cottage is a charming old barn conversion, renovated to a high standard. It can sleep up to six people in three bedrooms. Our aim has been to make Isaac’s Byre holiday cottage as eco-friendly as possible, without compromising on comfort. Isaac’s Byre is on the Pennine Way National Trail. There are great walks from the door of the cottage – so car-free days are easy. Our favourite walk is to Ashgill Force, under two miles from Isaac’s Byre.
