Self-catering cottage near to Nenthead in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and UNESCO Global Geopark. Sunrise Cottage was constructed at least 200 years ago and parts are much older. It has some features of a bastle house (a defensive building against reivers from both sides of the border). Now, it is a pleasant 2-bedrooomed house with plenty of country charm. Attached to Sunrise was a similar and much later (but not defensive) structure, plus a barn.
