North Pennines Tourism Toolkit

Welcome to the North Pennines Tourism Toolkit. If you are registered, please log in on the right hand side. Once you are logged in, the resources will be accessible. If you are not yet registered, you’ll need to read the information and complete the short application process.

Are you a business, community group, individual or charity? Do you want to promote the fact that you operate within, or are inspired by, the high quality landscape and nature in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and UNESCO Global Geopark? If you answered yes to these two questions, then you might want to sign up to use the resources in the North Pennines Tourism Toolkit.

The toolkit includes resources to help you to position your business, event, product or activity as being within, or associated with, the AONB and UNESCO Global Geopark. It includes:

  • Seven different North Pennines Locator Logos (e.g. ‘Based in the…’, ‘Inspired by the…’, ‘Happening in the…’) to cover a variety of uses
  • Copyright free images
  • Wildlife diary
  • Social media channel lists
  • Suggested marketing copy

Even if you are not a tourism business (accommodation provider, attraction, café, activity provider) you could still benefit from using the resources in the toolkit. You might be a food producer, community wildlife group, artist, creative or school, for instance.

Criteria

You must meet one (or more) of the following criteria to be eligible to use the resources within the North Pennines Tourism Toolkit:

  • Holding an event or activity in the North Pennines AONB & UNESCO Global Geopark;
  • Working with, supporting or otherwise want to be associated with the AONB & UNESCO Global Geopark but not actually based in the area.
