Delivered as part of the Tees-Swale: naturally connected programme this interactive day-long outdoor workshop held at Bowlees Quarry will help you get to grips with the commonest plant families. We will look at the key features of flower structure and vegetative features, plus investigate how to tell the differences between plant families such as the Buttercup family, Rose family and Umbellifer family. We will learn how to key out plants using The Wildflower Key by Francis Rose.
