Join us to make a needle felted lead miner Christmas decoration on Wednesday 2 December, 10am to 4pm, at High Forest Community Centre, Sinderhope.

All materials will be provided for participants. Suitable for a beginner aged 16+.

What will be covered:
• Materials: selecting for purpose
• Forming a core: to base your figure upon
• Creating features: make your miners face come alive
• Clothing: using coloured wool to create clothing
• Details: adding sheep locks and a staff

Accessible parking is available and the venue is accessible to wheelchair users but there is no accessible toilet. Refreshments will be available, please bring your own lunch and snacks.

The workshop is free. Optional donation – suggested amount £3. Your donation enables the North Pennines National Landscape team to protect and restore this special place and help people connect with nature.
